About Los Espetinhos Chueca

Warm and animated, the dining room at Los Espetinhos Chueca resembles a lively street market where aromas of grilled meats and smoky spices swirl effortlessly. The rhythm of casual chatter and sizzling skewers creates an authentic backdrop to an evening spent peeling through a diverse menu that steers clear of typical Brazilian clichés. Patrons drawn to the restaurant’s reputation often seek out candid reviews to balance expectations, and the honest layout of the dining area matches the straightforward, no-fuss approach of the cuisine. Some photos circulating online capture the vibrant skewers and shared plates, though they fall short of conveying the full sensory interplay happening at the table.

Unexpectedly brisk service contrasts with the leisurely pace encouraged by the restaurant’s convivial spirit. While the staff efficiently navigate requests, the experience may feel impersonal at moments, especially during peak hours, which can disrupt immersion into the South American fare. Nonetheless, the offerings impress with their balance of smoky char and tender succulence, a dedication evident in standout dishes like the traditional picanha on skewers. The accompanying sides, though simple, provide a crucial counterpoint—black beans and rice that lean into homeliness rather than innovation. Menu exploration at Los Espetinhos Chueca proves rewarding, especially for those who enjoy discovering casual Brazilian dining outside the mainstream's tamer touches.

Occasionally, the rustic charm of this restaurant doesn’t extend fully to quieter comfort—seating is somewhat cramped and can feel overwhelming when the small space is at capacity. Despite these spatial constraints, the value remains reasonable, making repeated visits tempting for both locals and curious visitors eager to digest the nuanced layers many gleam from the Los Espetinhos Chueca reviews. Ultimately, the restaurant’s blend of authentic grilling techniques with a spirited yet straightforward dining atmosphere creates an engaging, if occasionally uneven, snapshot of Brazil’s churrasco culture transplanted into the heart of Madrid’s Centro district.

The food was amazing and so was the service. Wow the quality of everything we tried was amazing. It was worth every penny, including the drinks. What a time honestly, and I don’t say this lightly. The only thing that could have been better would have been the music, more up beat vibe.

The place is not for gourmet food, but you get plenty of it and it is BBQ. The place is not too big, and it therefore it’s possible to talk and have a good time. Good place if you are hungry.

A great to eat!!! The staff is very kind and the environment is very welcoming. Food was great, with a traditional Feijoada and loads of Brazilian Barbecue! We were very well treated! Recommend 100%!

We spent $38 pp for an all you can eat so that’s pretty good! Good variety of meat and everything we had was perfectly cooked. The only thing missing for me was the “coxinhas”, a Brazilian typical snack. Vegetarian options - not many!

Loved my time in Espetinhos. Went there with a friend and we had an excellent evening. The Rodizio experience: fantastic cuts of tender meat and authentic Brazilian side dishes. Jenny was a great host and Eliseo amazed us with the delicacies from the coal fired barbeque one after the other. I'll be back!

This Brazilian rodizio boasts exceptionally delicious meats, complemented by well-prepared sides including rice, feijoada, salad, and fried potatoes. The service was both attentive and efficient. A thoughtful gesture for Mother's Day lunch was the presentation of a small flower bouquet to each mother at the tables. The only minor drawback was a slightly slow pace between the meat servings, likely due to the restaurant being fully booked for the holiday.
